Single coax cable to carry signal without EMF interference. 1 antenna cable winds around your spark plug wire to give you the RPM reading. Signal strength can be controlled by the antenna wire. Unit is potted to prevent damage from moisture and vibration. Wiring CANNOT be extended with additional wiring. Contains two meters in one: Hour Meter & Tachometer, job timer & max RPM. Hour meter records total actual running time on your engine (total run time tracking and recording). Job timer tracks & records intervals and then resets to "0". Job timer can be reset to record run time for record keeping.
